Alicia Witt is a pianist as well as a singer, who has performed as a screen actress since childhood. The 2009 album, titled eponymous and released after she had mainly performed as a pianist, revealed the obvious ties she has to Elton John. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit is her second release in 2021, marking her first time as a producer. Alicia Witt was first seen on the screen in 1984, in the adaptation of David Lynch's Frank Herbert's Dune. Although she was only ten when she first appeared on screen It's not a surprise that she was labeled as being an actor and singing, despite having played piano since when she started acting. Although she was onscreen more than she was on stage, her professional career as a musician didn't start until the year 1995.
